macroJournals actively seeks academics and professionals to join our International Advisory Board as Associate Editors or Guest Editors (see description below). Over the next few years, macroJournals will seek to index the journals in the relevant international databases, and to gain a respectable impact factor. Thus, we are looking for international members to helps us accomplish this task. Please fill the submission form below if interested.
Description: Facilitate the review process for papers submitted directly to the Journal.
Specific duties: Papers submitted directly to the Journal are first evaluated by the Editorial Staff. Papers considered appropriate for the Journal are forwarded to one of the Associate Editors. The Associate Editor has the authority to make the decision (in some cases) to either Reject or Accept the paper. In most cases, we recommend that the Associate Editor forwards the paper to the reviewer(s) suggested by the author and/ or the independently selected reviewer(s). The Associate Editor has the authority to make the final decision based on the recommendations by reviewer(s). Alternatively, the Associate Editor can simply forward the reviewer(s)’ recommendations to the Editorial Office.
The Associate Editor(s) also have an Advisory role and can actively participate in strategic planning with respect to Journal indexing goals, impact factor and journal evaluation, conference planning, and other.
The position of the Associate Editor is very flexible with time involvement, but the minimum requirement is to facilitate at least 1 journal submission in a 2 year period.
Direct benefits: The Associate Editors that choose to be heavily involved can be invited to the Journal sponsored conferences with some or all expenses covered, plus the appropriate stipend.
Description: Facilitate the review process for the Journal special issues (generally conference papers).
Specific duties: All conference papers are compiled by the Editorial Office. The Guest Editor(s) selects papers appropriate for the Special issue based on the topic or area of each paper, and forwards the list of papers to the Editorial Office.
The Guest Editor(s) also have an Advisory role and can actively participate in strategic planning with respect to Journal indexing goals, impact factor and journal evaluation, conference planning, and other.
The Guest Editor position is very flexible with time involvement, but the minimum requirement is to compile at least 1 Special Issue in a 3 year period.
